  • Project Manager | Charleston, SC

    The Project Manager role is a critical position that is responsible for leading both the office staff and the field staff in the construction of various landscape projects. The PM will also provide leadership to the project staff to ensure a quality, timely and profitable completion of our landscape installation projects.

    -     Pre-plan all jobs with detailed schedule of all phase of the project

  • Estimator | Charleston, SC

    We are a commercial landscaping company looking to hire someone to estimate who has been in landscaping and is computer savvy. This position is highly trainable. Your experience in the industry speaks volumes and if you are excellent at Excel and have great computer skills, we want to talk to you.


    Summary of Responsibilities


    The primary responsibility of the estimator is interpreting blueprints, performing take-offs, estimating materials, initial pricing and bid preparation, and interfacing with customers to ensure that technical specifications and designs are feasible and consistent with industry standards. Estimator must aggressively follow-up with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that bids are received in a timely manner and shall also work with the sales teams to follow-up on bids and budgets to close the business.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    ·         Supports sales staff in all bidding activities by taking construction plans and performing complete take-offs, pricing jobs (with sales input), preparing sales proposals and appropriate scope of work;

    ·         Maintains organized digital filing system to store all project information;

    ·         Maintains proficiency in company’s take-off software and hardware in order to improve efficiency and organization;

    ·         Tracks key metrics on bidding activity by end use sector and Account manager such as close ratio, total SF of bids, total $ of bids, etc.;

    ·         Interfaces with customers on design and specification issues as well as for clarifying details in plans and blueprints;

    ·         Provides technical support to sales team in customer meetings;

    ·         Handles customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner that protects the interests of the company and also best satisfies the customer;

    ·         Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors;

    ·         Prepares subcontractor bid packages;

    ·         Submits 100% of bids and budgets by the bid deadline.




    ·         Knowledge of landscape, hardscape and retaining wall materials and installation techniques

    ·         Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.

    ·         Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with management, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the company.

    ·         Ability to utilize appropriate interpersonal styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance of an idea, plan, activity, product or service from customers.

    ·         Absolute understanding of the construction process

We welcome anyone interesting in the green industry to start off on solid ground by applying for our internship program. Our well-rounded program establishes a solid foundation for anyone pursuing a career in the commercial landscaping industry. Through gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the industry, you will find the career path you most desire. You will gain a key, competitive edge when seeking employment. Starting your career going through an internship program develops invaluable leadership and management skills. 


    We offer a structured 12 week rotational internship program. Our rotation schedule will have you gain key knowledge in the following areas:

    • Business Administration: HR / Payroll / Purchasing / Accounting / Shop

If your school has any specific requirements for your internship, we will work with you to tailor our program to ensure those requirements are met. You will be assigned a mentor who will work side by side with you throughout the program as well as work with key managers from all facets of the business.

    We welcome all students pursuing a degree in any areas of Horticulture, Landscaping Contracting, or relevant degree programs to apply. Our 12 week program is designed to fit into a student's Summer break or can be applied for throughout the year.   • Hardscape Crew Leader/Foreman | Charleston, SC

    Join a growing team as a Hardscape Crew Leader where you will deliver high quality service to our clients. Our Charleston office is  in need of knowledgeable crew leaders to expand our Hardscape Division crews. 

    Important qualities to have:
    • 5 years’ experience of hardscape experience
